The hinged lid opening to reveal a fitted interior with its professionally replaced rich dark black leather writing area. The rectangular flat top lid with a central decorative brass inlaid plaque, the top and side edges of the hinged lid with quadrant mouldings, the main carcass with similar detailing, another nice feature is a side pull-out drawer, see image.
Condition: Professionally restored with its professionally replaced gold leaf tooled leather inside. Lock is present and working with key. Two crystal ink bottles of a later period.
